Guidelines

• Submit your paper in Word or .html format, preferably as an e-mail attachment or mail it to us as a CD. If you send photographs or graphic images, please send your whole document as a .pdf file.
• We are looking for papers that are approximately ten to fifteen pages, typed and double-spaced, in all fields related to Asian Studies.
• Original artworks by students and original technotext are also welcome.
• Provide references for all sources from which you quote or upon which you rely for your ideas, whether these sources be texts, multimedia, artworks, or music. Do not use footnotes, but place your references in endnotes and also provide a bibliography. Artworks and technotexts should include a paragraph giving credit to any sources that inspired them.
• You can include original photographs, graphic images, and sounds, if these are not under copyright.
• If a student's paper or work is selected for publication in I.D.E.A.S. by the Editorial Board, the student will still retain the copyright for their paper or work. Each student author is responsible for obeying international copyright laws.

Release Form

All submitted work will be reviewed when we receive the release form, filled out and signed by the student and his/her sponsoring professor.
